Job Description
As a Motion Designer, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge payments app, partnering with one of the top private sector banks in India. This role is perfect for a creative individual with a passion for animation and user experience design, who is eager to kickstart their career in motion design. You will collaborate with teams of Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process - at each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them, and ensure that the final product not just solves their problems but also surprises and delights them.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Design Team to create captivating and engaging motion graphics and animations. Develop visually stunning and user-friendly animations that enhance the user experience and bring the app's features and functionality to life. Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling motion designs. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for motion design elements that align with the brand's visual identity and user expectations. Create storyboards and conceptualize ideas to effectively communicate design concepts and animation sequences. Implement motion design best practices, ensuring consistency and adherence to design guidelines throughout the app. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and tools related to motion design and animation, and apply them to improve the quality of motion designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the overall design strategy and enhance the app's visual appeal and user experience. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, actively participating in team meetings, design critiques, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Job Requirements
A portfolio showcasing motion design and animation skills. This should demonstrate your ability to create visually appealing and engaging animations. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Animation, or a related field. Proficiency in industry-standard motion design and animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools. Basic knowledge of design principles, typography, colour theory, and composition. Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and the ability to incorporate them into motion design projects. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within given timelines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and visual, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passion for staying updated with emerging trends, techniques, and technologies in motion design and animation.
