Responsibilities
Assist in executing communication strategy for BookMyShow to build and manage corporate and brand reputation. Assist the team in coordinating with external PR agencies on all activities on a day-to-day basis to drive impactful and effective results through earned coverage across traditional, social, and digital media. Spot and convert relevant opportunity areas for the brand to increase effective visibility in media; also collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to identify the use of communication to support business needs and objectives. Coordinate all PR-related activities internally and externally and assist in managing all media requests. Work closely with the agency to develop content for press releases, authored articles, and presentations in line with BookMyShowβs communication objectives. Assist in putting together briefing documents for spokespersons for announcements, launches, and broader cross-functional efforts. Assist in research and identifying media relations (existing & new) to build opportunities for BookMyShow not just across traditional media but social and digital media and influencers alike; New-age, social and digital media interest is a must

Willingness to learn and understand the world of business and media environment, particularly in entertainment and consumer technology. Confidence to initiate and build relationships with media, journalists, bloggers and influencer communities. Good verbal and written communications skill. Good organisational skills and an innate ability to multitask and prioritize. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-oriented environment. A creative self-starter with the willingness to work on multiple projects at the same time would be most suitable for this role.
