Job Description
Amazon Business CS is looking for an experienced Training Delivery Manager whose primary purpose is to strengthen organizational-wide B2B customer support capability and effectiveness through developing and delivering training delivery programs, continuous learning and performance support solutions. Focusing on ensuring Amazon Business Customer Service stays ahead of the capability curve, you will partner with business and operational stakeholders to continuously identify learning needs, and raise the bar on the quality and impact of competency-focused training solutions. Your role is to empower and prepare our associates to confidently and flawlessly provide world-class B2B and account management support to all our business customers. You will mentor and inspire your team and partners to maximize the use of delivery technologies and techniques that drive improved productivity and performance. You will have the support and partnership of the Amazon Business Knowledge team who are passionate about experimenting with emerging technologies and high-quality visuals to create optimal content and blended learning solutions. This virtual or office-based leadership role operates at a regional level while supporting learning needs in other regions, and global programs as needed.
Responsibilities
Establishing and leading a high-performing team of regional training delivery specialists. Defining future regional training delivery needs and direction in partnership with the global training design team. Initiating and rapidly developing regional learning delivery solutions, and identifying global applicability where appropriate. Driving increased leadership and associate engagement with AB CS learning programs and continuous learning solutions. Owning regional training delivery, learner communication and engagement annual planning. Innovating by driving continuous enhancements and operational efficiencies across all process areas. Linking process improvements back to business metrics. Evaluating and improving the performance and effectiveness of training. Developing and strengthening their functional and technical capabilities, and the capabilities of their regional training delivery team. Partnering with support teams to design and deliver operational excellence in all aspects of training delivery including planning, training performance, and post-training productivity. Communicating the training feedback, results and strategy to a broad audience, including Sr. Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Innovating in the training delivery space. Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning functional deliverables and support requirements. Manages key stakeholder and 3rd party relationships.
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications: Experience in leading high-performing teams. Bachelorβs Degree in the relevant area. Experience with training delivery. Demonstrated Planning and Project Management skills. Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills. Self-starter, with excellent planning, analytical, and cultural agility skills. Competent with relevant Microsoft tools (or equivalent). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the iterative and rapid development of learning content. Experience with instructional design methodologies, and technologies including Captivate, Articulate Studio/Storyline. Understanding, and knowledge of localization and translation needs, processes, requirements and tools. Relevant professional certifications, adult learning theories, training delivery & design, 360 performance assessments, etc.
