Job Description
We are a team of IT (Information Technologies) professionals from Seagate. We are responsible for creating and implementing data-driven solutions to support business decisions and operations. The use of AI and ML allows for real-time data analysis and decision making, predictive maintenance, and the optimization of production processes. We collaborate with the business teams to harness the full potential of Industry 4.0 - Real-time control, IoT, Big Data and Analytics, Automation and Artificial Intelligence to support βSmart Factoryβ initiative, to make better decision and maximize operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Focus on developing a Machine Learning model for defect detection and defect pattern classification using images collected from equipment. The inference result will provide feedback to equipment for defective parts removal and the classification results will be used for root cause analysis. Work with our Data Scientist and Data Engineers to develop solutions based on machine learning methods, to enable live inferencing by integrating the inference pipeline with the factory system. The inferencing will either be hosted in the Data Center or at the Edge (near to or on equipment). Have the chance to drive meaningful impact at Seagate by designing, building, tuning, and deploying machine learning models that help uncover opportunities to reduce operational costs and improve product quality.
Job Requirements
A highly passionate about data science and want to apply AI/machine learning/deep learning techniques to solve real-world problems. Self-motivated, independent and a team player with strong analytical skills Your experience includes: Good at Python programming. Familiarity with AI Machine learning techniques, frameworks, and libraries.
